Morocco is Africa's most accessible and sensory-rich adventure — a country where ancient Berber culture, rolling Saharan dunes, Atlantic and Mediterranean coastline, cedar forests and labyrinthine medieval cities collide in an experience of extraordinary intensity. Marrakech's Jemaa el-Fna square at night — snake charmers, storytellers, acrobats, drummers and 100 food stalls billowing charcoal smoke under a star-thick sky — is one of the world's great theatrical experiences, inscribed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
A day's drive southeast, the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga rise 150 metres from the flat Saharan gravel plain, glowing rose-gold at dawn and volcanic orange at sunset. The entirely blue-painted hillside town of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains is one of the world's most photogenic places. And Indian passport holders need NO VISA for Morocco — making it one of Africa's most accessible first-time international destinations.
