Best Places to Visit in September from India: Holiday Packages That Fit the Month
September has a personality: weather, school calendars, and hotel prices all shift. This is our month-by-month holiday list for Indian travellers — destinations we package, not a random ranking.
These are holiday packages and itineraries we actually build for Indian families, couples and small groups — flights from Delhi or Mumbai where it makes sense, stays that match the season, and a pace you can live with. Visa notes are only where they change the booking calendar.
Where to go in September
Europe shoulder
Italy, France, Greece — sea still warm, crowds thinning. Best month many of our repeat clients choose.
Turkey
Istanbul plus Cappadocia or the coast without July blaze.
Georgia harvest
Wine, mountains, Tbilisi tables.
Kenya / Tanzania
Excellent safari month in many circuits.
Japan (late September)
Heat easing; autumn colour still a few weeks for Honshu.
